The Wine, The Confidante And The Friends (Updated)
Just to update that the link to the end of the relationship led to this post on The Dump. Also to note, I lost 3 kg this time last year, and unfortunately, the fats rolled back :P
I opened my inbox and saw an anniversary reminder from yahoo calendar. "Whose anniversary is that?! That's so strange, me, remind myself of other people's wedding annivesary?!?!"
And then I clicked on the link.
I read the title and I had to laugh at myself. Silly girl.
This day last year, silly ol' me was so excited about my new relationship that I typed in the date on Yahoo Calendar so that I can remind myself, year after the year, that 2 weeks from now in 2006, was the the day he and I became an official couple.
And the relationship didn't even last for a month. Ho ho ho! :D
Just when I was reminding myself that since Valentine's Day is drawing near (it's before Chinese New Year!), I've got not much time to get my Bandung serviced and tuned before she expires her product guaranteed date.
Incidentally, I had a post about Faith in February. It was written after watching a GA episode. I find it really bizarre that I have the same thoughts about the same time of the year...
So anyway, I have deleted the event reminder on 23rd Jan. Hopefully, it'd be the last time I am reminded of that bizarre event.

Last Sunday, we had a belated birthday dinner celebration for P. We went to the coffeeshop behind Eunos MRT station. According to my kiam-siap (stingy) colleague, they supposedly serve really tasty cheese crab.
The service was slow and sloppy, the aunty gave a black face whenever she came to our table, they forgot our cheese crab order. We gave up.
Feeling disatistfied, we went down to Geylang for durians.

Boy... These things need no cooking yet they taste heavenly compared to the "dinner" we had earlier. I think all of us have not eaten durians for a long time. The fruit disappeared quickly whenever a new serving is placed on the table. YUMMY!
Still not very satisfied, we drove down to Jalan Kayu for Teh Halia (Ginger Tea with milk) and prata. Admittedly, I find no draw in the prata kosong (plain pancake) I had, but the Teh Halia made up for the missing flavour.
It was a night of local food, but it was a wonderful time for a group of friends to be together, eat, chat, make fun of each other and talk without inhibitions. No pretense. Makes one thinks that truly, close friends are rare finds. As the Chinese saying goes,
Time to go to bed.

酒逢知己千杯少,话不投机半句多It was good, and my heart took lots of pictures that night :)
While there are never enough wine in a gathering of close confidantes, any word is one too many utterance for a disagreeing group(raw translation).
(Other direct translation: "Drinking with a bosom friend, a thousand shots are too few; Talking with a disagreeable person, half a sentence is too many. ")
Time to go to bed.

Ah... Was waiting for your cheese crab review! :P - D W
Guess wasn't meant to be. Why don't YOU go try it and do a review on it? You can make a "special guest" appearance ala the other blogs. :)
Have you tried before salted egg crabs? I wasn't very convinced it would taste very good but of course I was proven wrong lah. Haha.
I've never tried cheese crabs though. I love cheese!
Recommend leh, Zhe Bin... I wanna try... As for the Cheese Crabs... It's really a disappointment lor. Hopefully can find a better place serving Cheese Crab in the future! :D
