By Faith
Pastor delivered a very inspiring sermon yesterday. The key message was clear:
Sometimes, no, MOST of the time, believing can be so hard.
But going back to the Word can make the pill a little easier to swallow. In reality, we are already practicing blind faith. Taking for granted that a lot of things will work for us when we want them to.
Such irony. It's easier to have faith in smaller things, than to have faith in bigger things huh?
We have faith that we will always have air to breathe, that we will never kena any major natural calamity (in Singapore), faith that the flooring of the lift will not give way when we step on it...
But when asked for faith in bigger things, our brows will furrow.
I want to believe and trust more this year.
Hebrews 11:1The book of Hebrews always puts the meaning of "faith" down in perspective. Faith in God, in people, in ourselves.
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
希 伯 来 书 11章1节
信 就 是 所 望 之 事 的 实 底 , 是 未 见 之 事 的 确 据 。
